That means no acai bowls, chicken bakes, or even fountain drinks as Costco does its best to keep its customers safe from spreading the coronavirus.Ĭostco’s website doesn’t detail exactly what changes will be coming to all Costco food courts in the coming days, but a letter from their CEO does say that they have “reduced some services” and that they are putting an emphasis on making sure store surfaces stay sanitized and clean - they’ve even stopped serving free samples. According to Costco Deals on Instagram, in the North West region food courts will only be selling hot dogs and full-sized take out pizzas for the time being, and the rest of the nation is likely to follow suit. Costco is limiting items they sell at the food court. They’re trying to make their food courts safer in this time of the pandemic, so they’ve made moves like removing all of the seating and tables from food court areas so people can’t linger (though you can still chow down on that hot dog in your car on the way out of the parking lot…just make sure you wash your hands or use sanitizer before touching that food!).īut the furniture layout isn’t the only difference you’ll be noticing. Makes complete sense since those tables were probably pretty nasty. Was told 15mins for my pepperoni pizza, ended up being a little over 45mins and I came before the lunch rush.🌭🍕So the food court is now take out only and only serving hotdogs and full take out pizzas…all other items are unavailable even the 🥤soda machines! (bottom right photo). 03/24/20 AT 2:28 PM Costco ( COST) has announced that has changed its hours to give additional time for senior shoppers, aged 60 and older, to shop in its stores during the coronavirus pandemic. Not sure what's going on with this Corona location but the service has gone real bad. And for today, the sus machine and the soda itself was not the best. It is slightly good but compared to Sam's Club's pizza it is less greasy. Not sure what's going on at this location but service is terrible went threw self check out and was asked twice if I had paid for the stuff, that I was still scanning.
I avoid coming into this Costco at all costs. This place is always crowded and always very unkept. This is probably the most inefficient Costco I've ever been to. We always love a good Costco hot dog or pizza when we stop by, and this time was no different! However this time, we decided to try the chicken bake! The food was served up hot and in a timely.
